Refund Policy for Gift Mallard

Thank you for shopping at Gift Mallard! We take great pride in offering unique, made-to-order gifts, clothing, and home decor. Because many of our products are printed or created specifically for your order, we have specific guidelines when it comes to refunds, returns, and exchanges. Please review our Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures.
1. Made-to-Order Products
Since many of the items sold on our website are printed or made to order, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on these products unless there is an error on our part. This includes items with customizations such as monograms, names, or other personalized details.
2. Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or does not match your order (e.g., incorrect design or wrong item received), please contact us immediately at Hello@GiftMallard.com. We will ask you to return the item, and once we receive it, we will reprocess your order and send you a replacement at no additional charge.
- Return Process for Defective Items:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
- Provide a photo of the defect or error, along with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
- We will send you return instructions and a prepaid shipping label (if applicable).
- Once we receive the returned item, we will send a replacement at no additional cost.
3. Incorrect Personalization or Size
Because many of our products are made to order and personalized (such as monograms or custom sizes), we cannot accept returns or offer refunds if the customer has provided incorrect information, including:
- Incorrect personalization details (e.g., spelling errors, wrong name or monogram initials).
- Ordering the wrong size (e.g., clothing or home decor that does not fit the intended space or body type).
We encourage customers to double-check all details before submitting an order, as these products are printed or produced specifically for your order and cannot be restocked or resold.
4. Non-Refundable Items
Due to the nature of our products, the following items are non-refundable:
- Custom printed or made-to-order products.
- Personalized items with customized text, names, or monograms.
- Items that have been opened or used, unless defective.
5. Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for made-to-order or personalized items. However, if an error was made on our part (such as a defective or incorrect product), we will reprocess and ship a replacement at no additional charge, as described in section 2.
6. Refund Exceptions
If a refund is granted for a product that is not defective or an error on our part (e.g., an issue with the product not being personalized correctly due to customer input error), a restocking fee may be charged, and shipping costs will not be refunded. Refunds will be issued only for the cost of the product, minus any applicable fees.
7. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect product), customers will be responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
8. Timeframe for Returns
To ensure the quickest processing, we ask that all returns and claims for defective items be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order. After this period, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue replacements.
